The marketplaces
Many marketplaces are here in Charente Maritime during the high season, at Surgères, you will find it, three times a week, under the covered market. And every third tuesdays of each month take place in Surgères the trade fair, where a big market is organized in the streets of the town center.
Do not forget the nocturnal marketplace, with two dates in July and August.
Craft market
The Camping de la Gères organize during the season, a craft market, with regional manufacturers every wednesdays, where you can discover a lots of creator of jewels, frames or decorative items of all kinds, but also regional products made by little local manufacturers, such as the Cognac, or the Pineau des Charentes, the galettes charentaires, or the oysters and many others.
