OLERON : 18 miles long and 8 miles wide, this village offers picturesque landscapes, partly woodland (pine and holm oak trees), and a pleasant, mild climate.
PONT D'OLERON : The viaduct is situated precisely in the middle of the Pointe de Sinche (on the mainland side) and the Pointe d'Ors (Oléron side). It is 3027 metres long, was built by the Campenon-Bernard enterprise and opened in June 1966.
